Meditation Group Sunday,
May 4, 2008 All are welcome at our monthly yoga and meditation sangha (community). We'll now be meeting on the first Sunday of each month, from 4 to 6 pm. Please join us for gentle yoga from 4 to 5 pm, followed by sitting and walking meditation, and reciting the Five Mindfulness Trainings. There is no charge for this. May we help to create a more peaceful world by generating peace in our own hearts, and working to help others from this peaceful place inside. Ease
Your Mind Six
Mondays beginning April 21 A mind, body, spirit therapy group for people struggling with anxiety, panic, stress, body tension and worry. We will begin by developing compassionate relationships with our anxiety or tension. (You may have noticed that wishing it away doesn't always work). You will also be offered strategies for easing the stress or anxiety that keeps you from feeling free and calm. You will learn about the unconscious beliefs that fuel anxious behaviors or stress inducing choices and you will have the chance to begin to unburden these beliefs thus respectfully reducing the anxiety and stress.
