Integrated Awareness Meditation

In this workshop we will practice meditation by focusing on optimal posture, breath and balance through the principles of the Alexander Technique. We will use creative visualizations and guided meditations to liberate the wisdom of our hearts. Through this process you will learn to recognize how thought patterns manifest in your body and how to release habitual patterns of thought and behavior. As you follow the voice and flow of your own inner wisdom you will experience an embodied awareness of your unified heart, body and mind.

This workshop is a wonderful introduction to meditation for beginners and an opportunity for experienced meditators to go deeper.

Please wear comfortable clothing.

First Sunday Sangha

All are welcome at our monthly yoga and meditation sangha (community). We meet on the first Sunday of each month, from 4 to 6 pm. Please join us for gentle yoga from 4 to 5 pm, followed by sitting and walking meditation, and reciting the Five Mindfulness Trainings. There is no charge for this. May we help to create a more peaceful world by generating peace in our own hearts, and working to help others from this peaceful place inside.

Janet positively bubbles over with enthusiasm for yoga, and I am so excited that she is coming to share her gifts with us.
